Our Quality Control
K Machine has been an ISO certified company since 2008. Within the past year we have also successfully been certified and registered to the latest standard, ISO 9001:2015. In concert with the ISO 9001:2015 standard, K Machine has a written Quality Manual (available upon request) that describes our Quality Policy and explains procedures used to ensure quality. We pride ourselves on low rework rates, superior quality products, on-time deliveries, and the satisfaction of our customers.
Our Quality Policy States: “We are committed to meeting and exceeding the requirements and expectations of customers. We strive to service our customer's needs for on-time delivery and quality products, while continually working to improve our business, service, and employee performance.”
In addition to the Quality Policy, and in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, K Machine has established, documented and implemented a Quality Management System (QMS). This system is maintained and continually improved through the use of the quality policy, quality objectives, audit results, management review, analysis of data, as well as corrective actions.
The Quality Department at K Machine interacts with Operations and Manufacturing on quality issues, calibration of equipment, and disposition of non-conformance; it interacts with Engineering on product specifications and customer orders; and interacts with Purchasing and Receiving on the inspection and acceptance of purchased goods.
Traceability is maintained under disciplined documentation practices for raw materials, machining processes, inspection and non-destructive testing processes. Most documents are electronically stored for every manufactured or repaired component. K Machine's Quality Department invests heavily in inspection technologies (such as Faro Edge Equipment) and on-going training of our quality inspectors. We hold ourselves to high standards. We are a manufacturer committed to Quality Assurance.
